Still continuing my iced tea series, I bring to you my zobo pineapple iced tea mix. This has a slightly thicker texture just because I wanted to have a layered effect for the drink. Zobo also known as sorrel or hibiscus leaves is a great anti-oxidant and I find really helps cleanse my system after I drink it. If you get the authentic leaves, be sure to expect some cleansing.
Traditionally, the zobo drink is made with pineapples as you would see in my previous post. Flavour wise, it is still similar to the zobo drink but I added a new dimension of flavour with coconut cream. If you have followed my blog for a while, you would know that I am in love with the coconut flavour. If I could start another food blog, I would probably name it the coconut foodie. That is how in love I am with coconut.
Back to the matter, this zobo pineapple iced tea was very delicious. It could be a filling drink depending on how much you are used to consuming. It is a slightly thicker drink than my other drinks in the iced tea series. If you do not want to use raw sugar in your drink, you can replace it with honey. Enjoy the recipe.
