If you are like me and a snacker, you will absolutely love this post. I love to pick and nibble at things no matter what is in front of me. I’d much rather have healthy things in front of me to nibble on than otherwise and this is one of the staples in my snack bowl. You can mix it up with what you have in the middle of the sandwich. Sometime I add shrimps or chicken to this mix just to make it more interesting. For the purpose of this post, I used just ham and eggs. Feel free to try out what works for you. It could also be an interesting party appetizer. People are always requesting ideas for canapes to serve at nigerian parties. Just make sure you have skewers in them to make it easier to pick up.
Ingredients
1 small cucumber
1 boiled egg
1 slice of ham
2 tablespoons of hot sauce
1 medium tomato
A slice of cheddar cheese (optional)
Method
Slice your cucumber to a desired width. Thinner slices are easier to handle.
Layer your cucumber with the cheese, tomato and ham or boiled egg. Smear the hot sauce on the covering slice of the cucumber and serve.
