I am still taking my time to catch up to the experiments but for people that are not part of that world, let me introduce you to an option that may not seem like much anymore. Why have eba or pounded yam when you can have oatmeal? Do not be alarmed, it works out perfectly.

- Oatmeal is a great source of fibre which helps aid digestion plus it definitely fills you up. Although the fibre content is high, oatmeal is still a carbohydrate so portion control is key.
- Oatmeal can help lower blood cholesterol because of the fibre content.
- Oatmeal helps stabilize blood glucose level.
- Oatmeal enhances your immune response to diseases due to the beta gluten in the fibre.
Recipe for Oatmeal Swallow
Ingredients (Serves one)
1 cup of Oatmeal
3/4 cup of water
Method
There are 2 ways to make this. The first one is to blend the oatmeal till its a finer powder, Pour the water in a pot and heat it up. Pour in the oatmeal and stir till a dough is formed.
The second way to make it is to blend the oatmeal as in the same way and pour the oatmeal in a microwaveable bowl. Pour in the water, stir and place in the microwave for 1 min 30 seconds. Take it out and stir till a dough is formed. Serve hot with any soup.
