• Soursop Cocktail

Soursop cocktail is the perfect healthy drink to top off your holidays. Soursop was a fruit that growing up, i felt it was only my mum in this world that ate it. I never heard any other child come to school and talk about soursop as a staple fruit in their house. The body of the fruit just looked weird in general but as weird as it looked, it was and still is a very delicious fruit and has a lot of nutritional value. Some health claims relate it to cancer prevention. I just really grew to love the fruit. I decided to make a little cocktail out of it for christmas.

Maybe it’s a momsie thing. I never had soursop growing up so I didn’t know what it was. All of a sudden my mom starts talking about her soursop plants (she has a substantial home farm) and how soursop is so good. When I finally went home, I tried some and liked it – I didn’t know it would be so sweet. I would like to try some again when next I visit.
