Soursop cocktail is the perfect healthy drink to top off your holidays. Soursop was a fruit that growing up, i felt it was only my mum in this world that ate it. I never heard any other child come to school and talk about soursop as a staple fruit in their house. The body of the fruit just looked weird in general but as weird as it looked, it was and still is a very delicious fruit and has a lot of nutritional value. Some health claims relate it to cancer prevention. I just really grew to love the fruit. I decided to make a little cocktail out of it for christmas.
Recipe for SourSop Cocktail
Soursop Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 soursop fruit
- 1 cup of coconut water
- 1/2 cup of guava juice
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
Method
- Peel and de-seed the soursop completely and place in a blender.
- Add the other ingredients and blend.
- You may choose to add ice to the mix and serve garnished with lemon zest.
