The second christmas offering we have is out sweet and sour chicken balls recipe. This is a relatively simple recipe to make. If you feel you have to practice before hand, you can do so now which is why i have decided to post some of my recipes earlier. My friend Nefy (CEO of Luxurykaftans) saw me plating this dish and offered some suggestions which is why i have two samples of plating ideas for your party. Recipe for Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls
Sweet And Sour Chicken Balls
Ingredients
Chicken balls:
- 1 pound of ground chicken (skinless chicken Breast grounded)
- 2 green onions, chopped fine
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large seasoning cube
- 1 tablespoon of butter

Sweet and sour sauce :

- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2.5 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1.5 Tablespoons ketchup
- 2.5 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1.5 Tablespoons chili sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoon ginger grated

Method
Chicken Balls :
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, crush the seasoning cube and mix it with the ground chicken, egg, green onions and bread crumbs. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Scoop out the chicken mixture and roll into sizeable balls.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes till its cooked all the way through.
- In a small pan, heat up the butter, and stir fry the chicken balls till properly brown and set aside.
Sweet and Sour Sauce:
- In a small pot, heat up the water and vinegar and slowly stir in the corn starch till it is properly dissolved.
- Add the rest of the ingredients one at a time and stir on medium heat till thick.
- Add the chicken balls and allow to cook in the sauce for 5 minutes and serve with toothpicks to make it easier to pick at a party.
