• Easter Special:Irish Potato Tots

    Recently, as I was reviewing the traffic on my blog and how people found it last week, I saw someone searched for appetizers with potatoes. I had a few recipes in mind immediately but I thought I’d start with the easiest and gradually progress. So for whoever searched my blog for potato appetizers, here it is. Hope your Easter holiday has been enjoyable so far? What interesting dishes have you made?

    Ingredients (Serves 4 – for a light appetizer)

    5 Medium sized Irish Potatoes

    1/4 bulb of onions

    1/2 cube of Maggi

    2.5 Tablespoons of Flour

    Method

    Wash and Boil the potatoes with the skin till cooked.

    Grate the potatoes with the skin into a bowl

    Finely dice your onions and add to the potato

    Crumble your Maggi and mix the potato, onion and seasoning together.

    Pour in your flour and mix till it turns into a dough. Add more flour if necessary.

    Roll into small balls and fry.

    Serve with hot sauce or a mayo-ketchup sauce(1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of ketchup)
