I was browsing through Pinterest as I usually do with my spare time and came across this recipe and thought id try it. It seemed simple enough and would be an interesting twist to desserts I serve at my little parties. The outer shell reminded me of the Candy apples i buy at confectionery stores and how soft the apple is on the inside by the time I bit into it. Grapes make for a softer center. Hope you enjoy making this as much as i did.
Ingredients
• 1 cup caramel bits
•1 tablespoons cream
• handful of seedless green grapes
• 1 cup peanuts, crushed finely
•Lollipop sticks
Method
Poke lollipop sticks into your grapes and set aside.
In a small pot, over medium-low heat, combine the caramel bits and cream. Stir until melted.
Reduce heat to lowest setting just to keep warm and dip the grapes into the caramel sauce and then into the crushed nuts.
Place on a plate to set.
Repeat until all the grapes are used.
